Galaxy S8 Fast Charging Not Working After October Update, Users Report

Some  Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus owners are reporting that fast charging is not working for them anymore.
It's believed that the October update is the culprit behind the issue, as complaints turned up only in November.

Galaxy S8 Issues: Fast Charging Not Working

Over at Twitter and the Samsung forums, Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus users complained that their devices no longer supported fast charging.
"I just updated my phone 4 days ago and it stopped fast charging and taking 5+ hours to charge. Tried using a different charger with an adapter and still not working," a user wrote.
"Recently my charger hasn't been fast charging so when I charge my phone the battery would still be draining even when it's charging without me on the phone. Or it would stay on the same charge overnight. I actually factory reset my phone and the fast charging started working again, but once all my back up data upload back on my phone it stopped fast charging," another user said.
